Close proximity to the Hill of Tara and other sites as well as towns and villages in the area. Excellent accommodation, very clean. Attentive and accommodating stuff on site. We were moved by a thoughtful details like a welcoming gift basket with fresh eggs, milk, butter and other goodies. The owners also equipped the property with all the necessities required for a comfortable stay, like an umbrella, picnic basket, and other lovely things. We felt welcomed and would certainly love to come back and stay at decoy cottages again. The local kitty Rona stole our hearts. Totally welcoming, beautiful ginger lap kitty!

In the heart of the Boyne Valley, family-run Headfort Arms Hotel boasts an excellent restaurant and relaxing spa rooms. Dublin city centre is 1 hour away. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were all very helpful & kind. The garden out back was beautiful and serene.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is set in 21 acres of County Meath countryside, just 23 km from Dublin city centre. Staff were so friendly and helpful. So relaxing atmosphere all around. Nothing was a problem for them. Spa time. Restraunt time change. Everyone that works there, wheather in the restraunt or spa appears to enjoy what they are doing. Which is lovely to experience

Bellinter House Hotel & Spa se găsește în Navan, la 5,6 km de Dealul Tara, și are o grădină, o terasă, un bar și parcare privată gratuită. Bellinter House is wonderful on so many levels. It’s dog friendly, has a great restaurant and a beautiful location. It’s the staff though that make it. They are so lovely, kind and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother is in a wheelchair and I brought our dog and they were so helpful, it made us feel really welcome. The 18th century stately home is surrounded by parkland and has been stylishly restored as a boutique hotel and spa. The decor is imaginative and tasteful yet Bellinter still has a homely feel with a welcoming fire in the reception and drawing room. The library, drawing room and bar are all gorgeous. It’s very photogenic, and it’s not a surprise it’s popular for weddings. The bedrooms are lovely too, spacious with lots of facilities, including an excellent nespresso machine. My niece stayed in a deluxe room near the treatment rooms and it was a knockout with a large copper bath and two windows overlooking the garden. Our room in the stables was really comfortable and stylish too. When I mentioned it was difficult to navigate the gravel with the wheelchair they bent over backwards to make it all work for us. We couldn’t access the restaurant but the bar menu in the drawing room was great and very reasonable. There is a beautiful library for afternoon tea. There was also a large wedding party there at the same time. But we barely noticed them as the hotel has such efficient service and so many nooks and crannies. Without exception all the staff were amazing, particularly Kevin the new leisure manager. Also Eimear, Shirley, Geraldine, Judith, the new food and beverage manager and Denise the general manager. All the others too whose names I didn’t catch! It’s also conveniently situated just over half an hour from Dublin airport and close to the Hill of Tara, Newgrange and the Boyne Valley.
