Located on the cool green hills of Coorg, this plantation resort boasts 4 dining options, an outdoor infinity pool and an ayurvedic spa. It also houses a gym and a children’s activity centre. Free Wi-Fi access is provided. Absolutely everything is outstanding in this resort: the service, the staff, the food, the rooms… We made different activities and everything was absolutely perfect: the Dubare elephant camp, the bike ride, coffee tasting, bird watching…highly experienced rangers and guides! The food in the different restaurants is absolutely stunning and also for breakfast different places could be chosen.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The staff was incredibly hospitable and kind. Thank you especially Panish & Gowtham, for making our stay memorable! They made you feel most welcome and did everything to improve the stay. For example; we arrived just after the pool closed down, but they re-opened it just for us. They made a bonfire, just for us. We got a lunch on the day we were leaving even though technically that was not included. Very kind and attentive people. The Lodge itself was beautiful, very nice views (see picture), lots of wildlife and birds. Among many birds, we saw the gliding squirrel and the gliding dragon lizard. They staff (of which they had a few wildlife experts!) offered two different walks; one in the evening and one during the day. The food the lodge offered was amazing. The rooms spacious and clean. We also went on a safari in the nature park nearby, where we spotted lots of the local wildlife.

Hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness & Courtesy was the key highlight right from the start. The restaurant served wide variety of food , be it either breakfast or dinner, here kudos to the very well organized Mr Shekar & team. All other facilities, be it the gym, spa, pool & indoor sports area was very good. Highly recommend Purple Palms to those visiting Coorg.
