Villa 243 is a wonderful boutique hotel and a lovely place for our short stay in Jaipur! The rooms are comfortably furnished and softly lit, and the bathroom is a good size with decent water pressure. My friend and I had an excellent two nights sleep in the soft cotton sheets and block-printed coverlet. The rooftop lounge/ restaurant and plunge pool is such a nice touch, and a perfect way to spend an evening unwinding after the hustle and bustle of Jaipur traffic (just remember to load on that mosquito spray). Breakfast was simple but delicious, as was the dinner we had there both nights (I recommend the Indian Thali!) Overall, Villa 243 is a wonderful stay not too far away from the sights of Jaipur, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different from the usual cookie cutter hotel experience.

Amarsar is the all-day dining venue that serves a unique Thala breakfast, a la carte breakfast, international lunch and dinner menus featuring age-old traditional recipes inspired by the Silk Route, as well as the Alila To Eat, in-room dining menu. Overall experience was fantastic, loved how Sakshi was at hand to interact and make our stay very comfortable along the way. Karan at the Archary was super, the pool was fantastic, the hi tea was brilliant and the guys at the breakfast were outstanding as was the breakfast with loads of options. The Spa facilities were outstanding with brilliant, qualified and considerate therapists.

Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. It offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. The most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We loved everything about it, from the decor to the service, to the poolside. We had every evening meal in the restaurant which was always delicious, and the breakfast was wonderful too. We loved our evening drinks on the roof terrace to wind down before dinner. We never wanted to leave the hotel to go exploring!

Taj Devi Ratn Resort & Spa, Jaipur features various spa treatments as well as sauna facilities. A 24-hour reception can assist with luggage storage and travel arrangements. The hotel facilities were great, they had a lot of activities for adults and children, including an afternoon "fair" with food, beverages, games for children, presentations (dancing, music, magicians, puppet shows) that would take place everyday (for free). Plus plenty of other (paid) activities for our kids. We loved the spa and the heated pool, and the breakfast was delicious. But the best thing about the hotel was how its personnel went above and beyond to make our stay special and keep us confortable. We were lucky to spend the New Year's eve there, what a feast and a great party! (Although there was such an insane amount of food that I was wondering what they did with the leftovers - I hope it was donated). I would definitely stay in this hotel again!

The pool was great after a hot day of exploring.
