Everything was amazing - from the very beginning to the last day. Great property, well maintained. A clean pool. Sunbeds. Delicious food at the restaurant. Private SPA with Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, salt room.. But most of all - people who work there and who make your stay special. Lovely place to stay and reset. It was outside of season which was great for us as we just needed a stop over for a few days to catch up on work. Massimilano was a wonderful host and upgraded us to the loft which was absolutely perfect. Loved the Alexa in the room too so we could listen to tunes as we relaxed there.

A breakfast is served buffet style each morning. Calidario restaurant is open 7 days a week.

Hotel guests have discounts at the thermal baths and wellness centre, which includes a sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub. Herbal teas, extra-virgin olive oil and wine can be purchased on site. It’s the second time we stay at calidario. The rooms are big, stylish, clean. The beds and pillow are incredibly comfortable. The restaurant serves very good food in a beautiful setting and the outside thermal pool is awesome. Nicely warm clear water.

Set 300 metres from Elba Island's beautiful Fetovaia Beach, Hotel Galli - Wellness & Spa opened in the 1950s as an inn. Today it offers air-conditioned rooms with balcony and satellite LED TV. Lobby Wi-Fi is free. Hotel staff were wonderful it's a Family run hotel and little touches like coming out to help bring the suitcases in and the same when we left were very appreciated.The Spa was one oc the nicest I've been to and when you book it you have private access lots of candles had been lit for us and lots if attention to detail.So relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful with a lovely waitress and the choice of indoor or outdoor tables.Parking in a private car park is available and was free. The whole hotel is set on the side of the mountain so has multiple levels and steps. If you have difficult with stairs be sure to book a ground floor apartment. We really enjoyed our stay the walk to the beach is about 10 mins down a path and some steps not too steep and very straightforward.We also appreciated the discounted ferry codes and restaurant and beach access associated with the hotel Available on request.The hotel is 3 star but the service and decor was 5 star. The beach itself is white sand and shallow clear water you have to go out a bit to swim. The whole atmosphere on the beach was very chilled and peaceful and facilities were eccellent there are 2 Private beach access and 2 free beaches. The restaurant on the beach was amazing a huge choice of food from salads to sandwiches to pasta and fritto misto of fish.Also very good prices and well organised there is also a bar for fresh gelato and coffee and cocktails and a edicola and gift shop with the building.This was a big plus as we could walk down from the hotel and relax on the beach all day and everything we needed was there.Would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel and the Fetovaia beach and bar.

You can also sunbathe on the on-site terrace with rattan deckchairs or relax in the hot tub with hydromassage and chromotherapy functions, or in the pools. A sauna, hot spring bath and massage service are available too, at extra charge. The location is perfect if you want relaxation and quiet - the view from our room was terrific - the terrace huge (two sun beds and a table!) and the walk to the beach is fine but the property is not for those with walking issues. Dinner was fabulous - we ate one night there and one night at a small place up the road which was also terrific, but that’s it unless you have a car and can drive. There is a bus service that can take you to other parts of the island which is easy to use - the staff at the hotel drove us to the stop and back which was a huge help. I would definitely recommend this gem if you want seclusion.

The Ottone's wellness centre offers a wide variety of beauty treatments. There is also a gym, hammam and relaxation area. The atmosphere there is magic. The property is surrounded by trees and bird song. The personal was very polite and attentive. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the evenings at the bar of the historic villa.
