Everything ! The rooms were beautiful with beautiful paintings and everything was antique. The bed was super comfortable and I just loved the bathroom. Huge bathtub and a very high tech shower that actually turns into a steam room! This stay was the best part of our trip. The breakfast was amazing and even the dishes were so nice. Max was really nice and let us hang out in the dining room area until are train ride after check out. Definitely will be staying here again, can’t wait !

With a peaceful hilltop setting just outside Venturina Terme, Calidario has its own natural hot springs with waterfalls and a bathing area. It’s the second time we stay at calidario. The rooms are big, stylish, clean. The beds and pillow are incredibly comfortable. The restaurant serves very good food in a beautiful setting and the outside thermal pool is awesome. Nicely warm clear water.

Immersed in a 15,000-m² private park overlooking Sant’Andrea Bay in Elba Island, Hotel Gallo Nero offers elegant air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi. The location is perfect if you want relaxation and quiet - the view from our room was terrific - the terrace huge (two sun beds and a table!) and the walk to the beach is fine but the property is not for those with walking issues. Dinner was fabulous - we ate one night there and one night at a small place up the road which was also terrific, but that’s it unless you have a car and can drive. There is a bus service that can take you to other parts of the island which is easy to use - the staff at the hotel drove us to the stop and back which was a huge help. I would definitely recommend this gem if you want seclusion.
