It is close to the action in Syracuse (for me seeing the UNESCO sites) but far enough that you don't feel like you are in the city. There is an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath right now. Outdoor pool almost ready for water to be added. Parking is free and onsite. Easy access to grocery stores too. The Villa has a full kitchen with a big fridge that guests can use as well as a small one in the room.

The breakfast was tasty and she was able to answer all our questions including help with an auto rental for a day trip. Most importantly we encountered torrential rain and were correctly advised to cancel our trip .

Located a 3-minute drive from the Mediterranean coast, Wellness Spa Hotel Principe Fitalia is set in Fanusa and features a restaurant, fitness centre and two swimming pools. Staff was incredible nice and welcoming. Room was spacious, clean and the hot tub was perfect. Breakfast and the terrace also perfect!

Grand Hotel Des Etrangers is located in the centre of Ortigia Island and boasts beautiful sea views. It features a restaurant specialising in national cuisine. Wonderful stay. Great location of the hotel and great standing. Personnel was super helpful in making us recommendations, in particular restaurants around.

Set on cliffs overlooking Siracusa and Ortygia Island, Minareto is a 5-star luxury hotel in the protected Plemmirio area. The property is immaculate with beautiful cactus and olive tree gardens. The view is fabulous. From one side there is rocky beach with a view of Ortigia and on the other side there is a lovely sandy beach overlooking a cove. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It is about a 20 minute easy drive to Ortigia which we did a couple of times. Local attractions were easy to get to.
