This newly renovated hotel in Wadi Musa provides a free shuttle to Petra Gate and its visitor’s centre, 1 km away. It also offers a sun terrace, 24-hour room service and free Wi-Fi access. As an individual, I will rate it very highly. I found out on the spot that the hotel I had booked (Bedouin Camp) was quite far from the Visitor Center, so I searched and made a reservation on the day, focusing on hostels that would provide transportation to the center (as a result, free of charge). In spite of the sudden reservation, the owner picked me up on the day, sent me at 6:30 am the next day, picked me up in the evening of the next day, and delivered me to the Bedouin camp (minimum $10 charge + personal tip). There are shopping centers, supermarkets, and restaurants near the hotel, so you can enjoy meals safely even at night (without carrying large amounts of cash).

The room with the mountain view is amazing - sunset from this place was maybe the most beautiful we've seen in Jordan.. There is a rooftop restaurant where people fight to take places next to window, while you can get it just for yourself, sitting in comfortable chair. very tasty breakfast. But this is not the best in this hotel. The lady supervisor is the nicest, the most organized person I've met in any hotel. Whatever we needed, one word and she took care of it. Confidence, control and positive energy. She could easily be head of any hotel in the world. Great stay, fully recommend

Set in Wadi Musa, in a building dating from the 1800s, The Old Village Hotel & Resort offers an outdoor swimming pool and guestrooms with free WiFi. Beautiful complex, as if you are staying in a historic village. Low-rise building with nice rooms. We were upgraded to a very large and very nice junior suite at no extra charge. And are pampered. With a golf cart we were driven with our luggage to our room with stops along the way and explanations of where to find what (restaurants, indoor pool, outdoor pool). Slippers are ready, soft generous towels, free use of the minibar, espresso machine and kettle, fresh fruit and sweets in the room. The staff was very friendly. Everything is aimed at a very high level of service and customer appreciation. Everything is well arranged and of high quality. Aircos in the room, nice, large pools, spacious restaurant. Lots of menu choices at breakfast, both local and international options. Even when there are a few guests, choice at the dinner buffet is still sufficient. Bed was generous. A lovely mattress. Also the bathroom was spacious. Shuttle service to Petra or by car/tax about 10-15 minutes. We did not feel unsafe for a minute during our entire trip in Jordan from November 23, 2023 to December 3, 2023.

Sunset Hotel is situated opposite the main entrance to Petra (3-minute walk away), in Wadi Mousa. It features free Wi-Fi in public areas and an outdoor restaurant. Amazing spot next to Petra. Breakfast was great and dinner was a fantastic buffet for for 10JOD. Overall just an amazing stay. Highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. Mr. Ahmad from Guest Relations went above and beyond, offering me a better room than the one I had initially booked. He also arranged for a fantastic tour guide, who helped me gain a deeper understanding of the area. The breakfast manager and the entire breakfast staff were outstanding, ensuring a pleasant dining experience every morning. Additionally, Mr. Salamen (I believe this is his name) was incredibly gracious—he provided me with a variety of Dead Sea products and ensured my room was always spotless. Overall, the hospitality and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable. I highly appreciate their efforts and would gladly return!
