This hotel was absolutely stunning. Amazing first class service and wonderful staff. We loved how quiet and private our room was. Stepping outside and literally hearing birds and being able to see stars at night was amazing. The room and the bathtub are spacious and comfortable. The meals are local cuisine and tasted amazing. This is one of the best experiences Ive ever had at a hotel. The staff was able to check our reservations to the Hello Kitty Show Box as well which was very kind. Thank you very much!

Family room perfectly suitable with great view over the Onaruto Bridge and the whirlpools below. Room furniture in perfect order if slightly dated. Pool fantastic when hot days.

Overlooking Osaka Bay, Yumekaiyu Awajishima boasts 2 stylish restaurants and a variety of hot-spring baths. Free WiFi and a private bathroom with a bathtub are included in some rooms. This property was an exceedingly lovely experience. The location was perfect in the little town and very walkable to shopping, bus transportation, restaurants, and other eateries. The location also was centrally located for all the attractions on Awaji Island and I highly recommend taking the SoMa bus if you don't have a car to all the botanical gardens and other attractions on the island. The traditional Onsen spas is a must to try! I have never had an spa this exceptional in anywhere I have traveled to and I highly recommend the spa services. There is an Ayurvedic treatment of warm oil dripping on your forehead as you receive a head massage. The food is par excellence, featuring local products that will not disappoint. Their dessert bar with hand-made ice creams and treats are a delight. The service was exceptional! We had an English speaking staff member, Sara, who made our trip incredibly comfortable. Sara is extremely knowledgeable and assisted us in transportation to our separate airports. I will be going back and brining my husband who needs to experience this sensational resort hotel.

Nagisa-no-Sho Hanagoyomi offers spacious Japanese-style rooms with spectacular sea views, some of which boast a terrace and private outdoor hot spring bath. We took the room with open bath. It was the best relaxing experience we have ever had. Beautiful ocean view from the room and also from the open bath. You can hear the sound of waves, birds,etc. Exceptional experience. Dinner and breakfast were also exceptional.

GRAND NIKKO AWAJI is located across Akashi Strait Bridge, a 20-minute drive from JR Maiko Station. We used this The Grand Nikko Awaji for visiting family recently moved to Awaji. The room was stunning and the view exceptional. While researching the Grand Nikko English website, room selection and planning our mode of transport from the airport, we found that it was not as comprehensive as the Japanese and not being able to read Japanese was a problem. We phoned the hotel and the wonderful CRM manager Y Uchimizu went above and beyond helping us get organised with transport and room selection. The bed was comfortable, room spacious, balcony accessible. Bathroom was fabulous with good shower and bathtub. Western breakfast was average, with poor variety, cold eggs, non-crispy bacon, no wholemeal bread assortment, . My partner loved the Japanese breakfast, which she said was delicious in every way and had great variety. Coffee as often in Japan was mediocre.
