The facilities and some of the furniture were brand new and designed specifically for the hotel. In fact, the hotel only opened a few months ago, so it hasn't appeared on Google Maps yet. Breakfast is served at the affiliated Italian restaurant right next door. For context, this was a leisure trip with a family and a primary school child. We travelled by train.

Free Ramen served night time. Great position very closed to Fukui station.

The hotel can conveniently provide information at the reception to help guests to get around the area. Location was perfect, both for train travel and evening meals. Also having a laundry was great.

Conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from JR Tsuruga Train Station, Tsuruga Manten Hotel Ekimae features large public baths, a breakfast buffet serving a variety of dishes and a business centre with free-use computers, a printer and a fax machine. 🏨 Stayed at the hotel for a short while. The staff was good, and it was possible to leave luggage for a short while. 📍 It's located extremely conveniently, just outside JR Tsuruga station. There are convenience stores and places to eat nearby, and overall all of places of interest are reachable by foot from the hotel. 🚪 The room was neat, with enough space for an open large suitcase. I'd especially like to comment on a great work chair by the desk. In my case there also was a microwave just by the door in the corridor. 🧺 There are two washer-dryer sets, with detergent automatically added, 300¥ per washing cycle, and 100¥ per 30 minute drying cycle. ♨️ There's a public bath at the premise, and in the evening the common area used for breakfast in the morning features free ramen, but both I have not tried. 🍱 Breakfast was good, with Western and Japanese options and a few buffet options, and it's possible to begin breakfast as late as 9-30.

A 3-minute walk from Fukui Castle Ruins-daimyomachi Station, APA Hotel Fukui-Katamachi features rooms with wired internet access and a flat-screen TV. Guests can relax and soak in the public baths, which includes a hot-spring bath. Free WiFi is available in all area. Its a little small for two people but still cozy. You are able to use the washing machine and dryer at the onsen floor (forgot which floor), quite convenient.
