Location was close to the bus and train station and it is building is quiet modern. Convenience store close by and the old town was in walking distance. The room size was decent for a Japanese hotels and the Onsen bath on the top floor including the sauna was really nice - it has a shared relaxing area as well.

I booked a standard double room with a view travelling alone. It was a little small but pretty standard for Japanese hotels. Very clean overall for both the common areas and the room. Location is easily walkable from the station. Rooftop onsen is clean and large with beautiful views of city and mountains. Friendly staff, always greeting and offering help.

I asked if tattoos were okay for the hotspings, and they said it was okay. Although there was a sign saying no tattoos (as well on website), they seemed to be really nice about it & allowed it. Bonus points for that.
