-G7 Hiroshima Summit 2023 Venue- Overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Grand Prince Hotel is located a 15-minute drive from central Hiroshima. The view, the view, the view. Plus, the hotel was very elegant. Extra bonus is the hydrofoil boat that docks outside the hotel that takes you to and from Itsukushima Island. The hotel was the site of the G7 conference in 2023, with lots of photos documenting the summit. The hotel is also used for weddings, and we got to watch the end of a lovely wedding, with the new bride and groom walking up a three-story circular stairway, while the wedding guests applauded the couple from the balconies overlooking the three-story central grand lobby. Just lovely.

Located along Hiroshima's shoreline opposite Miyajima Island, known for World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, Aki Grand Hotel offers western and Japanese style rooms, free parking and 4... This is a wonderful old-fashioned Japanese style hotel. There are barely any foreign tourists around, so if you are looking for an authentic local experience, this place is a must visit. The private onsens are amazing, but you need to reserve 2-3 weeks in advance.
