Located a 5-minute taxi ride from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, Kobe Minato Onsen Ren boasts a variety of hot spring baths, a year-round hot spring outdoor pool, an indoor swimming pool, a... The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

The location was perfect for us. We liked that is was off the beaten path. The room size was very comfortable. The room had nice amenities. The private baths were also a very nice feature.

Set in the woods by Mount Kuruhi, Hotel Shogetsutei is 5 minutes from Kinosaki-Onsen Train Station on the free shuttle. It features beautiful outdoor hot-spring baths and a spa. Staff were fantastic, and amenities were superb. We booked the private onsen which was the highlight of our whole trip. My partner was even able to get a gym session in with easy use of the gym. Everything was perfect and we were well looked after.

Yamamotoya is a 7-minute walk from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station and a free 2-way shuttle is provided. It offers Japanese-style accommodation with a brewery, a hot-spring bath and free Wi-Fi. This place is amazing. Great location right in the middle of the town. The service was super great, they helped us take the luggage when checking in and checking out. The room was hugee. I booked room for 3 and room for 2, somehow the room for 3 was so huge I think it can fit 6. The food was amazing and tasty. 10/10 will recommend it to other. I have stayed in other ryokan in kinosaki before, and this one was cheaper than my previous stay but the experience was wayyyy better

I loved our room. Our hot bath was amazing and consistently stayed hot throughout the stay. Our room was very spacious. They provided us with all the necessities, yukatas to wear during dinner and pajamas. The massage chair in the room was a plus. I loved the location! If you just walk to the left of the hotel, you will reach a stairwell that leads directly to the arima onsen town area! Easy to walk around town. The staff were excellent and spoke English very well. It was easy to communicate with them.
