Guests can also relax with massages at the Spa. Sankara was like being in a tropical paradise with a staff that anticipated our every need. The property was absolutely beautiful and many of the staff spoke English very well, so communication was no issue. In all our travels we have never been to such an accommodating hotel where the staff took such great care of us and were so warm and friendly. The food was fantastic, and the lobby always had refreshments available for snacking or drinks. They arranged for our hiking gear so we could go see the Sugi trees--which were amazing!

Guests at the villa will be able to enjoy activities in and around Tatsugo, like cycling, fishing and hiking. Kids pool is also available at 泊まれるアートミュージアム 琉球ヴィラ, while guests can also relax in the garden. Location is nice. In addition, the service was responsive to our requests on the chat.

Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

The hotel has a wellness area which includes a sauna. This hotel was absolutely well located with various restaurants and convenience stores close to it. The staff was absolutely amazing and the rooms superbe also.

Located right in front of the shore, guests at Ibusuki Phoenix Hotel can enjoy "Sunamushi" sand hot-spring baths and request for relaxing massages. An outdoor swimming pool is available during the summer and indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths are featured all year long. Free WiFi is available at the lobby and front desk area and guest room, and JR Ibusuki Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. The interior (lobby area) had a Hawaii atmosphere. The hotel had a large souvenir shop, with snacks and drinks. We had half board included, and had a nice meal in the evening including drinks. The kids got a kids meal plate. We tried the sand-bath at the hotel, nice experience. For us it was included in the price. It was raining, but we still used the outdoors pool. The rooms had comfortable sleeping mattresses (on the floor) instead of hard futons. It was very OK altogether.
