The hot spring area on the higher floor with city view is great with indoor and outdoor hot water pool options, cold water plunge pool and sauna. Great value for the money paid!

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The staff is truly amazing! The lady who runs the Onsen is a delight. She speaks great english and she is very helpful. They all make you feel very welcoming. The place is neat, everything and everywhere is super clean. You can see that they truly embody the Japanese spirit of putting the heart into everything they do. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone who wants a true Onsen experience.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring area, Onyado Hishiya Torazo features Japanese-style accommodations. The owner is amazing! He is so friendly and great at explaining everything, including a map to the 9 public bath houses in town and restaurant recommendations. He made a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast for us. The private bath outside is beautiful - I wish we could've stayed longer. If we're ever back in the area we'll try to stay with him first.
