A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Overall wonderful ryokan. Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful big rooms, tatami floors, great view, nice onsens and close to Nara park. Even got little gifts from the staff.

Our favorite stay in over a month of traveling Japan. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Welcoming staff, excellent food and comfortable rooms. A little way out of Nara but all the main sites were easily accessible and public transport within 10-15 minutes walk. I would definitely recommend.

GRANDVRIO HOTEL NARA -WAKURA- -ROUTE INN HOTELS- nằm ở Tenri, cách Suehiro Park 28 km và Nozaki Kannon Shrine 28 km. Very nice hotel catering for Japanese. Very clean and comfy. Did not allow us to check in earlier. Relatively remote from tourist attractions, but we had a car, so did not matter
