The Japanese senior couple managing the pension are genuinely the sweetest people we could have dreamed of. Moomin Papa picked us up at the station at arrival and dropped us off (super early in the morning) after checkout. He drove us and the other guests in the morning to the ski resorts nearby and was also willing to pick us up in the afternoon. He was also great at giving dinner recommendations. The pension is simple and welcoming, breakfast is great and all we needed for a full day on the slopes. The onsen is a bit old but we didn’t mind. If you have very long hair it could take a while to dry with the available hairdryer - just to keep in mind. Rooms are nice and warm and the beds are comfortable. WiFi works well. Overall I would say it was a beautiful stay, the hosts and their care in everything they did made the experience 100 times better. Highly recommend!

Lovely, spacious ryokan. Very clean, great breakfast. Little bit removed from Myoko Onsen village (10-15 minutes walk) but very close to Myoko Kogen lift area. A pleasure to stay!

The staff was VERY helpful in arranging transportation during a fully booked weekend on Sado Island. Goint the extra mile to follow up and get us a spot on an already fully booked bus back from the festival. Nice breakfast buffet, offering a mix of western and Japanese foods. And a bit better than normal expectations for a businessman hotel. Bed was up off the floor for us old folks.

One stop resort with all facilities for family, in-house onsen, gym, spa and skiing park. Excellent and convenient for family, the skiing adventure course for my boys for whole day, which need to pay, but it gives free time for parents and big fun for kid. Good, highly recommended!!

This place is heaven. Absolutely beautiful, amazing location, great people . I travelled together with my 3yrs old son and everything was just perfect. We planned to stay 3 nights but eventually stayed 7. The owner and the staff were amazing. They really made us feel like we are among friends and family. Thank you for that. I hope it was not our last time in Sado and this beautiful place.

Hotel Yuzawa Yuzawa Denkiya provides free shuttle service to Echigo Yuzawa Station, a 5-minute drive away. It offers Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Everything is Perfect!!! Highly recommend.
