Even though the location quite take some time to walk from the nearest sea.. But the location is very good.. We really like the outdoor onsen n the cleanliness of the onsen facility.. We also like the breakfast buffet in the morning.. There is also a shuttle bus to go here n from the train station., it's really helpful for the tourist

The view of the ocean and stars from the private bath on the balcony was very pleasant. We had an excellent meal prepared by the kitchen. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat mushrooms, so I contacted the hotel before our arrival to see if they could accommodate her. They took a great deal of care to prepare a varied selection of dishes for her. She really enjoyed the meal. My food was also delicious. The service was excellent too. The staff are attentive, helpful, and communicate well in English.

Everything was awesome . Staff was so polite and nice. I don’t know the name but an old man staff near the lounge was so polite and helpful. The free lounge and pool and onsen was so so so good . Dinner and breakfast was also very nice and 5star quality food and drinks. Parking is very spacious and free. Wheelchair ♿️ person can also enjoy the hotel . Best part is you can use digital payment also like PayPay and merpay , credit card . No ❌cash payment is accepted. Toilet was clean and reception is very big .

Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya is situated just a 2-minute walk away from Kawayu Onsen bus stop. The public hot-spring bath on site is made from Hinoki cypress wood and features free flowing natural spring water. Very grateful for their shuttle bus service. We arrived at Hongutaisha late when the tourist center was closed and there was literally no bus running. Called them at around 7PM and got picked up in ten minutes. For a budget stay we were thankful for the service offered. Onsen and dinner/breakfast were also very enjoyable.
