Ishan is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything you may need. His warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests make the stay at Manike Lodge truly special. Being near national parks, we had the opportunity to explore the stunning natural beauty of Sri Lanka up close. And with Sirigiya just a short drive away, the convenience of exploring this famous cultural landmark was great. The property itself is quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene ambiance, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. I highly recommend staying at Manike Lodge for anyone looking for a truly relaxed experience in Sri Lanka.

The homestay boasts a variety of wellness options, including spa facilities, wellness packages and yoga classes. The area is popular for cycling and fishing, and bike hire is available at this 1-star homestay. If you would like to discover the area, hiking and walking tours are possible in the surroundings and the homestay can arrange a car rental service. Jeewa, Masha, and Oleena made our stay wonderful. Their homestay is lovely, jungle vibes. The room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, and Masha's dinner is very tasty. Jeewaa was always giving us advice and helping us to decide what to do around. We went on a safari with a guide that he recommended, and apart from being cheaper than other places, the guide was also very knowledgeable and professional. We wanted to do some Ayurvedic spa treatments, and we found other places quite expensive, but Jeewaa recommended us a local Ayurvedic centre, and the place was half the price then other places and it was SO GOOD! Our kids had the best time, Oleena (the couples' daughter) was always so friendly and playing with our kids. Our kids ended up joining the neighbourhood kids' gang. We had the most wonderful stay if one day we come back to Sri Lanka, we would definitely go back to Oleena's homestay. Jeewaa, Masha and Oleena, thank you so much.

The room and facilities were clean and very mixe. The WiFi worked really well (which is quite rare in Sri Lanka). Definitely an amazing value for money. And she cooked one of the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka, for a fair price I HIGHLY recommend ☺️

The newly build cottage is very comfortable all we could wish for to rest after some tiring travels days. But the best was the family and its hospitality. The received our family with two small girls as part of their family and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommended. For the price...can't go wrong!

The owner and his family, the food, the services, the garden and the cleanliness. Even though the property is a bit away from the main road, we were always provided with transportation as and when required at a very good price. They also helped arrange the village tour and Minneria Safari at a competitive price. Always willing to sort out things for you, you just have to mention something and they would be able to arrange it for you.

Buffet and Asian breakfast options are available at the accommodation. We upgraded to the A-frame tree house with a private pool a few days before arrival, and it was the best decision. The pool was the perfect size to cool off for our family of five. We loved our stay here. While this hotel might be a bit further from Sigiriya, they organised a driver in a safari jeep to take us where we needed to go. We also went on a game drive to a nearby national park, which was amazing; we saw so many elephants. You can walk into some local shops as well. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and both were really good—best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka.
