Property is run by very welcoming and nice family. We were warmly greeted. Very good breakfast, but too much for us, and they changed it according to our wishes. Also they arranged for us jeep safari in Minerya national park (as per their advice due to elephant's path) and we saw a lot of those incredible animals. Special thanks to Ravi - family member who speaks very good English and advised us for many things.

Kids loved playing in the garden, on the big rock in front of the guesthouse and of course with they friend: daughter Oleena. Good value/money. Cannot recommend this enough! We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

The room is very good for the price you pay, off course basic but very clean (cleanest we stayed so far in Sri Lanka). The owners are warm hearted people. The hospitality was extraordinary: the nice chats, the father of the house who drove us around to go hike Pidurangala rock and see Polonnaruwa, always checking if we were good and safe...We felt at home. The dinner is super nice, good local food. They also help you a lot with getting good prices to safari and getting a taxi. If you are looking for a place to stay in Habarana: this is it!! We would recommend 100%. We hope We get to Come back.

The property is so unique and spacious for our family of 5. Our children loved being in nature and having a shower outside! Breakfast was delicious and we had an amazing bbq by the pool one evening that was truly special. The pool was a great size and perfect for cooling off after climbing Sigiriya! I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff were super friendly at all times. We really loved the food, breakfast has a big variety of dishes and it was delicious! The bungalow is amazing too, a comfortable and beautiful place in the middle of nature with a private pool - we enjoyed a lot! I highly recommend!
