The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

Set along the beachfront just metres away from the pristine beaches of Pasikudha Bay, Uga Bay - Pasikuda boasts well appointed rooms, a spacious outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access. Beautiful hotel with huge swimming pool, nice, clean and spacious rooms, well-kept beautiful garden and big beach. Meals are ok, huge choice of dishes. Nice and polite staff. Just perfect🤩 there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood of the hotel, but rather tuk tuk is needed to get there.

Beautiful 5* resort, I'd say it's typical European standard with large rooms, some western TV, fast wifi, beautiful beach and nice pool. We also enjoyed the restaurant (priced really reasonably). Breakfast was typical resort type with mix or western and asian with egg station, coffee/tea, fruits, jogurts. Staff was super accommodating, friendly and very attentive. We had a really nice time :)
