The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

Một hồ bơi ngoài trời tuyệt đẹp nằm giữa bãi biển và Amaya Beach Passikudah, resort cung cấp các phòng và suite rộng rãi với ban công riêng cùng Wi-Fi miễn phí. Loved everything about this stay. It was very relaxing. The hotel has used the land and the private beach area in the most efficient manner. Very picturesque with the blue colour waters, we took a lot of photos! You can either swim in the private beach of the hotel and see corals, or walk over to the public beach without corals. The pool was good, lounge beds spreaded over the area provided a nice place to experience the wind and the sunsets. There was a lot of guests at the hotel but it did not feel overcrowded. Staff are very polite. Buffets were nice. They also had a place to play board games. Also jet ski, paddle boats etc were offered for additional charges. Staying for more than 1 night was a good choice. Will definitely go again.

The perfect place to relax after touring around Sri Lanka.

We tryd a wellness treatment that we wanted to do for a long time, we had been to various places before in finding an Authentic treatment procedure to see the real benefits but we did not find one. After being to Suwa Piyasa at Giman Free Beach Resort we got to know the procedure, the medication, the food and the environment which is conducive to such treatment. It’s a unique and a purpose build facility that can create that kind of environment. It just that feeling of Relaxed atmosphere !! Local fisher folk provides fresh seafood to the Resort, great social responsibility by the Resort . Always fresh sea food is a possibility and Chef is capable of turning out great seafood dishes !! We made a decision to come back for a long stay Ayurveda session !!.

Amazing pool, Adil the resident manager was truly exceptional. The night time lagoon boat ride to hear the singing fish was amazing. The fish eagle family that live in a tree by the hotel was incredible. A great place to stay!
