The hotel is located in one of the most picturesque areas in Ahangama opening up to the sea. Whichever room option you select, you are guaranteed an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel is situated next to probably the most amazing beach as well. You can swim here for hours on end as the waves are sort of calm because of the natural breakwater created by the rocks around. The service is immaculate. We had butler-like service answering to our every need. The waiting staff during the meals were also super friendly and attentive. We loved taking all of our meals at the property. The food was also delicious and one of our highlights during the stay – particularly the dinner from the a la carte menu. This hotel is just one of those we can have more of in the coast of Sri Lanka. The people, food and views all combined to make our stay super memorable.

Absolutely gorgeous stay here, great location, Nuwan and his wife Dinesh were the best hosts, really helpful and kind and had everything you needed. My husband loves to fish and so does Nuwan so husband was able to fish off the decking, kids loved the pool and our room was brilliant, really spacious with smart TV and super comfy beds. The breakfast here was excellent, loads of it and fresh. We are definitely coming back here and highly recommend especially if travelling with kids. Thanks for looking after us so well

The villa was spotless, in a great location, and hosted by a truly wonderful hostess. It’s close to the beach yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Highly recommended!

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, Happy Man Guest house is located in Bentota. Free WiFi access is available. It provides a 24-hour front desk for the convenience of the guests. This family-run compound, set off the main road and nestled in the forest, is an absolute delight. The staff, including all family members, are friendly, warm, and happy to help with whatever you need. The food is fantastic; it is all homecooked, and they will facilitate whatever you want. We are both vegetarian and the food that was provided was the best we had eaten in Sri Lanka. The nearby beach, accessible by free tuk-tuk ride, is simply the most magnificent, untrammelled beach I have ever seen. Spotless, golden sands, warm blue water and stunning scenery. The rooms are enormous with comfortable beds, clean (outdoor!) bathroom and a lovely porch. The entire resort was spotless. We spent 11 days in Sri Lanka in total, across a range of different style accommodations, 5* to 2* hotels and this was easily the best place we stayed.

If you're looking for a peaceful vibe (no kids allowed and no annoying music at the pool), excellent food, outstanding cocktails, excellent service, and amazing sunsets...then this place is for you. We were very warmly welcomed upon arrival and were looked after with meticulous care for the rest of our stay (thank you very much, Sanath!). The room was perfect and the bed (including linens and pillows) was very comfortable. Thank you also to the very kind and generous Chef Thushara and his team for the wonderful Sri Lankan cooking class (delicious chicken curry). Another highlight of our stay was having our sundowners on a hidden patio perched on the rocks and overlooking the surf. The drinks and the view were spectacular! While you're there, also try the spa. Wonderful massages. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better stay and we look forward to coming back. Thank you, Sandaru, for waking up so early to assist us with our checkout and bid us farewell.

The Villa Bentota by KK Collection is a beach side boutique hotel featuring individually designed rooms and suites. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers 2 outdoor pools and free WiFi in the... Wonderful rooms and very professional staff. Nice touches such as milk and not creamer. First place we stayed with a bathtub too. Lots of hidden areas to explore.

The staff were really helpful, they organised a massage and birthday flowers and cake for us when I mentioned. They couldn't be more attentive. Would definitely recommend.
