Free shuttle to the train-station with their own tuktuk.

The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The hotel is impressive as soon as you walk in. The staff were quick to greet you and help you check in. The room (family), was spacious, quiet, very clean with all modern fittings and amenities. The breakfast was excellent - catered for a range of cuisines. Again, the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Our stay at this wonderful hotel was truly unique. From the moment we were welcomed with a warm, traditional greeting, we knew this place was special. The design is absolutely stunning, with meticulous attention to detail. The hotel is immaculately maintained—a magical natural gem. The entire staff is kind and pleasant, and the service is incredibly efficient. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. Everything was great. The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and very comfy. They food was fantastic, both dinner and breakfast. It's just a 10min drive away from Sigiriya. Also they have the best wifi connection we had in our trip.

Breakfast was good but I’d recommend you make it more fun It was our best stay in sri lanka so far, staffs were so good and the manager is a decent man We loved the waterfall activity arranged by hotel, Will definitely come again if ever visited Kandy thank you for making our vacation extra special
