We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

This is such a special place and we loved the hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and the location is beautiful and very peaceful. We had some of the best food during our whole trip at this hotel - the chefs are amazing. We were so impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms, which were really well equipped. It was really the perfect balance - the rooms had the comfort and facilities of a much larger hotel, but with all the intimacy of a boutique experience.

Very quiet place compared to other parts of the island. Large room, great terrace, friendly staff, good breakfast! The hotel has a large green area, 5 minutes walk to the beach. We were very tired and did not go to see the turtles, but next to the hotel there is a center where organized tours start every day at 20:30.
