The accommodation offers a spa centre. Guests at Sleeping Elephant Beach Resort will be able to enjoy activities in and around Tangalle, like cycling. A very beautiful place for a relaxing holiday. It is immediately clear that the owners are Europeans. Everything is very clean, renovated, very clean pool. The hosts are very friendly - they will help and advise you on all questions. In the hotel restaurant, you can finally get non-spicy food. The beach is very wide and clean, but the waves will not allow swimming with children.

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. I think this might be the best place I've stayed at in my travels, atleast in this price range. Staf are great, facilities excellent, garden pretty, location is out of the way but there is easy access by bike or tuktuk, pool is gorgeous and food is amazing (so no real need to go anywhere else). I really can't fault the place. Was sad to leave and would gladly come back. Highly recommended!

The best hotel I've ever been to. Lakshitha is the sweetest and most accommodating host. He cooked us the fish we caught on the lagoon. He told us when to go to the nearby beach to see turtles. Huge and very clean room, bathroom and terrace. Delicious food. A beautiful garden. I strongly recommend.

The Alpha Monkey hotel & Tree house offers a spa centre. You have to understand that this is a rustic place. If you can embrace that you will really enjoy the open air aspect of the room. The view of the pool, coconut palms, the other greenery, and beyond that, the ocean, is so relaxing. You catch the sea breeze from your balcony. Yes, there are a few bugs in the room, but hey, it’s part of the adventure. We were planning on 2 nights, but stayed for 4. It is much more quiet down at this end of the beach.

The location was perfect for little walks in the nature,safaris and the host was really friendly and helped us a lot.
