You can see the ocean just from bed. The rooms are really clean, stylish and spacious. There is a good variety of teas in a room. The staff are super friendly and smiling. They offer free yoga sessions and massage service which was great. The breakfast was good. The best part was that it is not a crowded and touristy place, so it is perfect to relax.

Spent 5 relaxing days here and would definitely come back

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Guests at Sleeping Elephant Beach Resort will be able to enjoy activities in and around Tangalle, like cycling. We travel with our 2 boys 8 and 9 yo We just loved the place!! The villa had a closed bedroom and a second floor for our kids There is a small kitchen with the basics to prepare snacks. And 2 fridges There is so much space and its really comfy The pool was lovely. And the beach right in front was super quiet. The waves were pretty big but fun to play in The staff was really nice and the food delicious And the owners were really helpfull and really nice

Pool is great also, we spend hours there chillin' out. They have great restorant, food is amazing, we had dinner there 3 times and we loved all food there. Apsolutelly perfect. Personell is the highlight here, those people are amazing! Very profesional, on service all time, ready and capeable to help with any wish or desire. We felt like we are one big family. This is one of top 2 hotels where I been in my life traver experience. Thanks a lot, you are amazing!

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!

The Alpha Monkey hotel & Tree house offers a spa centre. You have to understand that this is a rustic place. If you can embrace that you will really enjoy the open air aspect of the room. The view of the pool, coconut palms, the other greenery, and beyond that, the ocean, is so relaxing. You catch the sea breeze from your balcony. Yes, there are a few bugs in the room, but hey, it’s part of the adventure. We were planning on 2 nights, but stayed for 4. It is much more quiet down at this end of the beach.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which serves Chinese cuisine and also offers vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options. I‘ve had the most wonderful stay. The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out.
