If you are in the area this place is a must stay ! And in the morning an incredible breakfast with Dahl, string hoppers, crepes, fresh eggs , fresh fruit and really good coffee. We were there for three nights, and were made to feel very much at home. The room was very comfortable and had a nice terrace. The garden was peaceful and very private, which was perfect for sunbathing and relaxing without worrying about “dress code”. It was a relaxing and homely environment. We had a very nice breakfast each morning, and in the evenings Raj made some delicious curries with fresh local ingredients. Wadduwa is not a touristy place, which we liked. It is located on the train line between Colombo and Galle, with both easily reachable.

When I check-in I was offered an upgrade to one of their best villas with a pool. Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!

Our room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, with lovely views and a sense of calm that made it easy to relax. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything neat and fresh every day. The facilities, especially the pool and garden, are beautifully maintained; walking through the lush grounds to the beach felt like stepping into a private tropical retreat. A special highlight was the complimentary high tea they arranged for us athoughtful gesture that made our afternoon extra special. The tea service was beautifully presented with a great selection of treats and a perfect view of the gardens and ocean.
