Royal Rock Sigiriya ligger i Sigiriya, 2,3 km fra Sigiriya-klippen, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Location and accommodation was dreamy. A cabana in the jungle and a swimming pool in addition. Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

Our stay at this wonderful hotel was truly unique. From the moment we were welcomed with a warm, traditional greeting, we knew this place was special. The design is absolutely stunning, with meticulous attention to detail. The hotel is immaculately maintained—a magical natural gem. The entire staff is kind and pleasant, and the service is incredibly efficient. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. There are plenty of options to spend extended time on-site, whether you want to enjoy the tranquility of nature or use the facilities like the gym, pool, or snooker table. We only wish we could have stayed more nights

Sigiri Birds Hostel ligger i Sigiriya, 1,7 km fra Sigiriya-klippen, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Her er roomservice og en pengeautomat samt gratis wi-fi overalt. I highly recommend this hostel! The hosts were so nice, very helpful, full of good recommandations. I would come back here anytime and for a few more days because it was so nice. Felt like home with this lovely family! The food was also very good and we were able to see how to make a curry with the host which was really fun :)

I’ve said this about many places in Sri Lanka, and it absolutely applies to Sigiriya Forest Edge: the true highlight of this property is the incredible staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and made our stay feel both homey and effortlessly relaxing. We were traveling with a baby, and the team went above and beyond to help — from preparing special meals to arranging everything we needed with care and attention. A very special thanks to Tharindu, who took it upon himself to recover and ship our lost jacket from Colombo all the way to Sigiriya. He was also a fantastic resource, helping us discover other local activities and making our stay even more memorable. As for the hotel itself, we loved being surrounded by greenery — it felt like we were staying among the treetops. Our room was comfortable, peaceful, and well-equipped. Also, heartfelt thanks to the restaurant team, who treated us to some of our favorite Sri Lanka.

The perfect place to stay in Sigiriya! We arrived as guests and left as family! Sanje and his staff are absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and your needs are met. Whether you are there to relax by the beautiful pool or site see to the famous rock and local attractions Sigiriya cottage will not disappoint! They have a restaurant where they serve a nice variety of choices. Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, we were sad to leave. Until next time, thank you 🙏

A beautiful spacious villa surrounded by nature: it is near a spectacular lake and rice fields. It is within a walking distance from Sigiriya and Pidurangala: we went there by foot. Our room was really large, fresh and clean equipped with air conditioning. It has a big bathroom with hot water and toiletries. The pool is big and clean, we used it every day. There are sun loungers as well. The house also has a playground with chess, table tennis and badminton. The breakfast was enormous 😀 and really tasty with fresh fruits and local goodies. They also served something new every day. Special thanks to the hosts Kasun and Pathum, they really made our stay there enjoyable. They helped us organize an elephant safari and a transfer to another city, advised on non-tourist attractions, and even delivered food from nearby restaurants free of charge. I would definitely recommend staying in Bungalow Resort for a pleasant vacation
