The location is amazing, nature here is realy beautiful. You can swim in the river next to the resort. Facilities are clean and new.

I booked Hillcrest Villa Weligama because of its privacy and unique features, especially the availability of private bathtubs and a private pool, which my wife really loves. The property exceeded our expectations it was calm, peaceful, and located away from other rooms, with a private garden that added to the serene atmosphere. The room was perfect, offering a silent and tranquil environment. The villa provides a truly unique experience compared to other hotels and boutique stays I've visited due to my work. Excellent value for money with very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly, helpful, kind, and punctual. For breakfast We ordered as a options like pancakes and shakshuka were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The pool and its stunning view looked amazing, and I can’t wait to enjoy it on my next visit Absolutely! I highly recommend Hillcrest Villa Weligama for couples seeking stress relief, romantic holidays, or a perfect honeymoon destination. My wife and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and will definitely return to experience more of what this villa offers. Thank you for a memorable experience!

The family who owns the place is so nice- they have arranged everything from whale watching tour to tuktuk drive. The location of the hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and clean and have nice jungle view, you can watch monkeys playing on the trees from the balcony. We liked the hotel so much we reserved it also for our second stay in Mirissa.

After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. What a perfect place for connecting with nature! You can feel like in the jungle when listening to the morning birds! The owners are super nice and helpful. The WiFi was super strong for work. Very close to the beach where you can surf or just relax. And a shower.. you can look up the sky when showering! Highly recommended!
