I travelled to Ella with my wife for holiday. We found Grand Rock View to be a small, tranquil place with a great character. Our room with balcony offered us the views of the whole valley where the city of Ella is located, including the Ella Rock and the waterfalls. It was a pleasure to just sit there and watch the world go by in the evenings. The place was quiet, as it is located away from any main roads. However, the centre of Ella can be reached from there by a 5-minute walk on the nearby railway tracks (which is how people normally get around there). The host was great, helped us to orient ourselves for our hikes to the nearby hills and was bent to fulfil any of our wishes. He also recommended to us several interesting dining options in Ella. The breakfast at the resort was very good and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Rock Grand View very much.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. A special thanks to Nisal, who went above and beyond—he arranged our bike, helped with local tips, and even organized an early 5:30 AM drop to the station with packed breakfast. Truly warm hospitality—highly recommend!

A fantastic accommodation with an amazing staff. Mr Shirley is a amazing young man who made me more then welcome 🙏 this is a beautiful place to stay. How ever people like Shirley make it come to life by just that extra amount of love and care. I recommend this place to everyone.

Super clean, brand new, owners are really nice and offered coffee, tea, water etc. Not in the centrum of Ella, but in the forest in its own peace. Everything was awesome, i can recommend this place! 🙏

The room is very nice and the beds and blankets were very comfortable. A short walk from the main street, and nice and quiet at night. There is a comfortable outdoor sitting with a beautiful view, and the tea was delicious. The host was kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend this homestay, and would like to come back.

Amazing location in the middle of nature. You fall asleep with the sound of a waterfall. Sunrise hike to Ella Rock with guide from the hotel is very recommendable. Also great breakfast and very helpful staff. Would definitely come again!

Our stay at rock view hostel was so nice and amazing view. Breakfast was really really good. The staff were so friendly and helpful . The rooms were lovely spacious lockers for your luggage. Comfortable beds with your own plugs and lights. Perfect location.
