This is an amazing place in every way. First of all, the guys who work there are amazing, very helpful, great cooks, they take care of the place and the people. We arrived very late, around 9pm, and it was no problem for them and they cooked us dinner. In addition, this beautiful balcony with a wonderful view and the sounds of nature in the evening. We sat on the balcony until late in the evening. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay there when I am in Sri Lanka.

This was the best accommodation ever, with an amazing view of the waterfall. We had one of the best breakfasts of our lives, Dammi is an incredible chef! The hooper eggs and Sri Lankan pancakes were the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place!

The host, Shirley was unfailingly friendly and helpful from the second we arrived until well after our departure. The hotel is in a leafy, secluded hilltop location which is all guesthouses - it's fairly close to the main drag but far enough to be very peaceful. The room was spotless, with lovely wooden furniture and full bed size mosquito net Breakfast was light and delicious with hoppers, toast, omelette and fruit. When the driver we had booked didn't work out, Shirley arranged a much better one at very short notice.

I booked this lodge based on previous reviews, and I'm delighted to say it truly lives up to its rating. Our stay was exceptional, with outstanding facilities and warm hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to attractions like the 9 Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, and the Ravana Zipline. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this hotel

Super clean, brand new, owners are really nice and offered coffee, tea, water etc. Not in the centrum of Ella, but in the forest in its own peace. Everything was awesome, i can recommend this place! 🙏
