Nillu (the guest) was super friendly, cooked delicious food for dinner and breakfast and we had a great conversation with her and her son. She also helped us arrange the safari to Huluro Eco Park, where we could see lots of wild elephants. We fell in love with her dog Elly, she was so cute and barked at the monkeys that tried to get close to the house! We would repeat for sure and recommend to our friends visiting Sri Lanka

Lavendish Lake Giritale is located in the Ancient City of Polanaruwa, overlooking the beautiful Giritale Lake. Everything was perfect. Excellent view. The food was delicious and mouthwatering. The staff was very helpful, and we felt that we were in good hands. Highly recommended.
