The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!

The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. Tranquil setting surrounded by rice fields and garden to relax and enjoy. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Clean! Breakfasts were amazing with a different delicious menu daily! Sanjeewa arranged a full day Yala National Park safari with Tilac who was the best and most determined to find a leopard for us. He did! Sanjeewa gave me a city tour to the bat trees and temple, inviting me to try a local healthy tea. Overall a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Easy walk into town or thru the rice field village.

Our stay was nice. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower worked perfectly with cold and hot water. And the terrace views were super nice. The area was quiet and surrounded by nature. I recommend this place!

Nice location - just few steps from the beach. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. AC was working great, hot water system also. Room has protection against insects, so nothing gets inside the room. Owner is super helpful, showed us the hotel, beach and surrounding area. He can also arrange the safari for you. There is a restaruant in the hotel serving tasty seafood (we had fresh lobsters). Definitely a great spot! Fully recommended for everyone!

The room was unlike any other hotel in recent memory. Equipped with top tier tech and unrivaled design. The food and chef were exceptional. The service was outstanding. The location was unique and exciting. The staff including manger were very accommodating of requests and the spa was also top notch.

The beds were comfy and a huge bathroom! The owner was very friendly without being too assertive, for breakfast he made hoppers, pani pol and fruits in his super cozy garden! Really recommend this place!
