Great hotel to have a rest after a long journey around Sri-Lanka.

We came to celebrate our honeymoon and there could have been no better place. The concept is incredible - a luxurious experience while nestled amidst nature. Staff is incredible and take very good care of you. Food and drinks are incredible. We stayed 2 nights and would have loved to have stayed for longer. Game drives were amazing. We had a spectacular dinner on the beach under the stars. Every minor detail is so carefully and meticulously planned. Wild coast has been a major highlight from travels over the last 15 years.

Sanjeewa arranged a full day Yala National Park safari with Tilac who was the best and most determined to find a leopard for us. He did! Sanjeewa gave me a city tour to the bat trees and temple, inviting me to try a local healthy tea. Overall a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Easy walk into town or thru the rice field village.

The staff were all so kind and helpful and the food was incredible, the best we have had in Sri Lanka and a fantastic variety! All meals, drinks and safari are included, a very special place!

Set in Yala, 42 km from Situlpawwa, Flameback Eco Lodge features concierge services and free WiFi. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were on hand to provide suggestions on local tours without being pushy. They also went out of their way to make us egg hoppers one day which we were really grateful for. The villa is new and really well furnished with super comfy beds and pillows.
