The room was clean and very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Laundry & meals were at a very reasonable price. The food was amazing and in huge portion. The host is the nicest and kindest person ever!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!

We recently stayed at a tented lodge for a safari night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The tents were beautifully set up, blending comfort with the authentic charm of being right in the heart of nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild was both thrilling and peaceful. The highlight for us was the safari itself—our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making every sighting special. We were lucky enough to spot a variety of wildlife, and the kids couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Sharing stories around the fire after dinner made the evening even more memorable. Overall, this experience was everything we hoped for and more. Our family left with full hearts, happy memories, and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical blend of adventure, comfort, and nature.

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. Tranquil setting surrounded by rice fields and garden to relax and enjoy. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Clean! Breakfasts were amazing with a different delicious menu daily! Sanjeewa arranged a full day Yala National Park safari with Tilac who was the best and most determined to find a leopard for us. He did! Sanjeewa gave me a city tour to the bat trees and temple, inviting me to try a local healthy tea. Overall a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Easy walk into town or thru the rice field village.

Resort is stunning. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. Spa was worth doing, I went at night so I didn’t waste the day at the spa. Gym was great. Pool was unreal. All the food was great. Great breakfast. I had a great stay and will be back.

Absolutely incredible place in a beautiful setting overlooking the sea and in the buffer zone of Yala national park, amazing wildlife around the hotel as well as on safari. The staff were all so kind and helpful and the food was incredible, the best we have had in Sri Lanka and a fantastic variety! All meals, drinks and safari are included, a very special place!
