I booked this stay as a surprise for my father’s birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Michlifen Resort & Golf team went above and beyond — not only did they kindly leave a birthday cake in the room, but they also upgraded my parents’ room, which made their weekend truly unforgettable. They were touched by the thoughtful gestures, and everything from the service to the comfort of the hotel was perfect. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this celebration so special. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return!

We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.

We felt a real sense of calm and relaxation as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, with a generous variety of options. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The riad itself is charming and well-maintained, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed peaceful moments during the day and evening. It’s the perfect place to experience the beauty of fez while feeling at home. We truly recommend Riad shauala and would love to return on our next visit!”

We had a wonderful dinner at the riad, where the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was professional and welcoming, and we sincerely thank them for their hospitality. Additionally, the rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. They also arranged an airport taxi for us, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free.

A lovely lady who pours her heart out into her business and accommodates the guests. 10 stars! The place is very special and the history of it. We were accommodated in the adjoining property which was excellent and very beautifully adorned with art and decor. It had a rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent. The room had excellent facilities and the shower had excellent hot water.

We loved the decorations around the main garden and inside the rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially finding meeting points with tours.
