Very spacious and clean house. The 5 bedrooms upstairs were all with bathrooms and very nice. One bedroom downstairs was a bit darker as it's in the basement but it had AC so I think it would be ok (we didn't need it though so nobody slept there). The extra room in the basement would probably be ok for a night but not for long, it was pretty dark and humid. The pool was still warm enough in September and had great view. Very good BBQ and we'll equipped kitchen. We could hear goats, roosters, and donkeys from the neighborhood, that was cute.

Just 400 metres from Mgarr Harbour, the Grand Hotel offers rooftop dining in summer and a pool with uninterrupted views of the island of Malta. We booked a seaview room with balcony and it was located in the new wing of the hotel. It looked exactly as pictured on Booking.com. Huge room, enormous bathroom, comfy beds, spectacular view. The check-in was super-friendly. We were invited to sit down in the lobby and were served complimentary flutes of fresh orange juice while the receptionist gathered our information and we did the paperwork. I had a spa treatment with Kristina and she was fantastic. We also tried the Level 9 restaurant, which was a luxurious culinary experience with attentive staff and inventive, delicious food.

Welcoming, kind, patient, helpful and observant! Room was impressively clean, spacious and well equipped, having 2 bathrooms was especially helpful. AC truly welcoming and can be regulated to comfort and needs. Room equipped with fridge and tea and coffee machine. Pool area beautiful and safe for kids, also on sight pool bar very welcoming. All Staff were very observant, patient and helpful. Bkfast was fresh and varied and great in general. Parking is available and right next to hotel. Location means you can walk to a number amenities, find copius restaurants and perfect for evening strolls. Views from room and especially the roof top pool breathtaking. Also a welcome change given that there is only one hotel in the area which is quite dated. Being allowed to make use of facilities even after check out was a massive plus.
