Set along the white sandy beach on the East Coast of Mauritius in Belle Mare, The Residence offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features an outdoor swimming pool and spa centre with a sauna. We had a wonderful stay! The beach and hotel grounds were beautiful, and the service was excellent. The Plantation Restaurant was amazing and absolutely delicious. We loved the free water sports and the kids club had lots of daily activities. Everything was perfect—we’ll definitely be back!

This is a spectacular hotel. From check-in to check-out you will find nothing but smiles and genuinely helpful staff. They manage to be extremely helpful and relaxed at the same time which makes for a very pleasant experience. I will not mention anyone in particular as EVERYONE I met was wonderful. The property is very well maintained and laid out on beautiful grounds. Despite being distinctly up-market, it's not snobby/posh; this is what true luxury is all about. It's big enough to ensure complete privacy, but small enough to remain intimate. I, as well as the rest of the family (including two kids 11 and 14 yoa) just wished we would have stayed longer. We stayed in connecting Frangipani club rooms, which were very nicely appointed with all creature comforts you could reasonably wish for. I loved this hotel, quite possibly the best hotel in the tropics. At least the best I've been to. (My benchmark may be limited, but includes the best Beachcombers, Four Seasons' and Contances of this world.) I will return to this hotel every year until I get too old to travel. You should too. Thank you!

One & Only Mauritius has the sweetest team and we wish to come back soon or in general we've developed trust and engagement with One&Only brand.

Stretching along 2 km of private beachfront and with an offshore coral reef, Constance Belle Mare Plage includes 7 restaurants and 6 bars. Unique and fantastic place. It was one of the best my vacation. thank you . Separate thanks to Tennis coach Andrew.
