It is located on a beautiful beach with a coral reef for snorkelling. You can see lots of colourful fish, turtles, rays and sharks there. The hotel's own tours are also great, for example snorkelling with the manta rays. You can also get to know the island life of the locals. The hotel staff are very friendly and help with every question. If you can manage without alcohol on holiday, then this is a great choice. You don't notice the airport.

Jumla serves breakfast and international favourites at live cooking stations. Alifaan focuses on seafood and flame-grilled meats. Kaiyo brings together Asian flavours with sushi, bao and satay. Madumaithiri is a relaxed beach bar by the adults-only pool. Atardecer offers cocktails and pinchos (Spanish-style small bites) with fire shows and DJ sets. Handhuvaru specialises in rum tasting, while Aqua Bar, located near the kids’ club, serves poolside drinks and light meals for all ages. Beach, friendly staff, great facilities.

Amilla Fushi Resort Villas & Residences is a island resort located in Baa Atoll offering you a choice of island homes that hover over clear waters, nestled amongst lush tree tops or the shores of pristine white sand. An outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre is available. Free WiFi access is available in this resort. We stayed at Tree Top Villa for 10 nights and that was the best choice in terms of location and privacy. We love walking and riding bicycles, so the Villa located in the jungle was the perfect choice to make the vacation a bit more diverse if you are slightly tired from the beach and social life. Even when it was raining - the terrace with its very private pool (not very big but just ideal for one adult or a couple of kids), trees, bats and birds - that was really romantic. The villa itself was so beautiful (we liked the architecture and style, and the master bathroom was gorgeous). We stayed at Amilla in low season - end of April - beginning of May, and we enjoyed the feeling of privacy (though most of the villas were occupied - we saw other guests mostly in restaurants. The service was also above all expectations - our butler Gondo was in touch 24*7 via WhatsApp and all our requests were met immediately. All other employees were also very friendly and helpful (we are quite demanding clients - but here there were no complaints at all - very good!). The variety of menu types in all the restaurants is very impressive (kids menu, keto, paleo, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian, gluten free - and the personnel always keeps in mind your limitation). In all the restaurants they met our requests and cook in accordance with our wishes - that was more than convenient for us and three our kids with very different preferences. I also had very positive experience with the medicine department of the hotel - and they were very nice and helpful. In addition to describe the service - the meeting in the airport was perfect, the hotel has its very nice lounge where you could refresh and even check-in while having some healthy snacks and drinks with the great view. At the day of departure, the hotel's representatives accompanies us at the boat and in the hydro-plane, and at the check-in desk in the airport to the customs - that was very nice from them!

For leisure, head into the sparkling waters for a range of water sports including canoeing and diving. Alternatively, indulge with soothing massages at Coco Spa. Union Pay is accepted here in the presence of the cardholder. Fauna and Flora around. Nice plants and small animals (waterhen, crabs, bats, fishes,...) - snorkeling possible. Also accommodation was excellent - small fresh water pool in front of vila, private open bathroom behind. Spacious bed and surroundings - excellent stay.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, full-day security and free WiFi. We booked one suite and one room, and honestly both were amazing. I've stayed in a lot of places, but this was one of the best hotels. The rooms were even better than the photos! What really made the stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was very kind and the hospitality stood out a lot. Special thanks to the manager, Adms, who was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast (included) was delicious, and overall the entire stay was so comfortable and relaxing, no one wanted to leave. Any requests or small issues we had were quickly handled by the staff, and they responded quickly to texts as well. I highly, highly recommend this hotel, it's worth coming back again.

A very cozy guest house with kind and helpful personnel. Nice breakfasts. Tidy rooms with daily cleaning. Pick-up and drop-off to the beach, which was extremely convenient. The staff did its best to fulfill guests’ expectations and make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Be in shape even during your vacation with the overwater gymnasium accompanied with ocean views for motivation. Vakkaru Resort exceeded our expectations. We liked absolutely everything. The island is big enough to never get bored of it. There are beautiful beaches and a flourishing vegetation that makes very pleasant biking around in the internal part. The service exceeded our expectations. Our Buttler, Joy, was absolutely perfect: precise, gentle, always one step further, she assisted us perfectly and resolved any situation. Everyone was extremely competent and so nice with us. The whole island is so clean. We were afraid that our plunge pool villa would have been too small, but it was actually perfect, much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Great attention is given to sustainability in the choice of materials. The private beach in front of it was pure heaven. Snorkelling in front of the villa and in the blue holes was amazing. Breakfast was huge and excellent. Food in general was fantastic, and we are difficult customers as we really love high quality dining and we are very spoiled by Michelin starred restaurants around the world. We particularly loved Lagoon Bar, with its amazing sea food and astonishing views of the ocean. We also loved Isoletta, despite the fact we are Italian and we normally never eat Italian food abroad. But at Isoletta, chef Andrea does a wonderful job: you can find superlative Italian cuisine here, with its classic recipes, sometimes with an original "twist". Not only is Andrea an excellent chef, but he is extremely kind and welcoming. I really appreciated he found the time to teach me some tricks for his "risotto al limone", one of the best risotto I ever had in my life. If you would ever get bored of the beach, snorkelling, and sea, you can relax at the amazing SPA. Or play some board games, there are so many! Or play padel, or tennis, or several water sports. We are already considering to coming back asap.
