Haam, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of spectacular. He introduced us to the unique natural wonders of the island, including an incredible natural mud bath experience and guided us to some of the island’s secret spots, adding a touch of exclusive adventure to our vacation. Equally impressive was Khokon’s dedication. His attentiveness was unmatched, always ensuring our needs were met, from warming up the sauna to immaculately maintaining our room. His commitment to our comfort made us feel truly pampered. The culinary experience at Ataraxis Grand was a gastronomic delight. The variety and quality of food served were exceptional, satisfying our taste buds with every meal. As an added adventure, the Pelagic Divers Fuvahmulah dive shop provided an exhilarating diving experience. Gaining my open water diver certification through them was seamless and thrilling, especially the dive with Tiger sharks – a memory I’ll cherish forever. The quality of our room was beyond our expectations, offering luxury and comfort in equal measure. This, combined with the fun explorations around the island, made our stay truly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Haam’s proactive approach in resolving a minor hiccup with the internet speed. Understanding the necessity of a stable connection for my work, he arranged for a private internet service at a reasonable cost, significantly improving my work efficiency. Overall, Ataraxis Grand and Spa is not just a hotel; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Maldives Fuvahmulah.

The other 4 rooms were empty so it was a very spacious, clean and modern place to have: ample living room, kitchen, dinning area & porch. Kitchen has all the utensils, fridge, stove and microwave so you could have meals there or in the nearby Maldivian restaurant. I was glad to have the pick-up & drop-off included since the place is far from harbour (and airport), but close to a nice beach (not really suitable for swimming).

The resort consists of 2 restaurant and 3 bars. Kilhi is the main restaurant where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served in the buffet style. Light meals and drinks are served at the Dhoni Bar. A La Carte dining and drinks are available at the Meera Bar. Snacks and drinks are available at the Beach Bar. Various excursions and water sports are available along with resort-based activities and facilities such as a fully equipped gym, Tennis court, Table tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Spa, Swimming pool, and Souvenir shop. in one word, excellent - location, peace, cleanliness, the taste of the food in the restaurant, the facilities, the friendliness of the staff, simply everything is great. I was surprised by the cleaning of the villa twice a day, an amazing experience is the private hot tub, a wonderful view of the sea and the stars. It was very pleasant to be able to rent bikes for free together with the free buggy pick-up service. Always excellent and smiling service at the bars, really tasty cuisine

The guest house provides pool views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Got a tour of the islands in the owner’s car and also got to discuss the history. Close to the airport. Had lunch and dinner at a cost and the food was very good. Free breakfast. Would recommend to friends.

Lovely pool area. Also a good sea front with tree shade & loungers. A beautiful beach "Bounty advert style" is within a 5 minutes walk. Delicious food with plenty of maldivian/asian dishes spiced to perfection. live music twice a week (Great Band). Exceptional value compared to island resorts.

Pick up.from airport but no sign board so you have to just say the name of the accommodation out loud to a bunch of people outside the airport until someone hears and approaches you. Essential oil burning in room...nice scent. Working refrigerator.
