Located within Emboodhoo Lagoon, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives The hotel features a large ocean view swimming pool with a slide and underwater speakers, Rock Spa, Body Rock gym, Rock Shop, Hard Rock Café,... I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives! I had been staying on another island before coming here, and the weather at Hard Rock was so much better — always sunny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, everything was exceptional. I received a room upgrade, and the room itself was stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. They surprised me with a birthday cake and sparkling wine, which made my celebration extra special. A huge shout-out to Alfar, my host — truly the best host ever! He was always helping me out any time of the day, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Aikko also helped me a lot to get around and was very nice. The breakfast was great, and when I asked for items not available at the buffet, like chia seeds or pecans, they were happily provided. One of my favorite parts of the room was the huge hammock, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The marina live around the overwater villa is incredible. There are many restaurant options around, both at the hotel itself and in nearby properties and the marina, which gives a lot of variety for dining. The hotel also offers many activities, including yoga and jiu-jitsu. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to join, but it’s great to have so many choices. I did jetski at the water sports center and paid USD 400, which I felt was too expensive — and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it, as you don’t really see anything more beautiful than what’s already around the hotel. The best part of the island is right there! I also went to the spa and had a lovely massage — a very relaxing experience. The gym has a beautiful view, and it’s really nice to bike around the property and enjoy the scenery. My only small suggestion would be to move the blue light switch to the bathroom instead of connecting it to the bed light. Overall, this was one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to return.

The airport pick up was very easy and the team on the boat transfer give you a taste of how well you will be looked after on the island. Although it is small, there is plenty to do and what I particularly loved about it is that you can leave your shoes behind throughout your stay as even the bar and restaurant is on sand. The accommodation is fantastic and comfortable each with a view and your own sunbed. There are plenty of places where to stop and lay in a hammock, lots of fishes to see even with just a pair of goggles. The food and service is amazing and we cannot wait to return. A little peace of heaven where you can truly relax.

The adult only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives offers elegant beach and over-water accommodation for adults in the exclusive North Male Atoll. This resort is one of the most fantastic places I have ever stayed at. The location and scenery is breathtaking, with a thoughtfully laid out resort and staff who are wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable (shoutout to Mamun in housekeeping). If you grow tired of the excellent snorkelling or the lounging at the pools and beaches, there is an abundance of activities laid on by the resort each day including live music, fish feeding and yoga. Excursions are extra but are absolutely worth it! The food was heavenly (I'll be dreaming of the breakfast at Oceans for a long time), the atmosphere welcoming and the views absolutely out of this world. Thank you!

Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort offers private villas and bungalows on an idyllic island in the Indian Ocean. The resort features an outdoor pool, 4 restaurants and a spa. Everything was perfectly coordinated and timed; meals were good, staff super helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and timely cleaned, my partner bday was excellent.

Bandos resort is a private island located 8 Km away from Male. Bandos Maldives features spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the garden or beach. We upgraded to superior beach villa with jacuzzi We loved everything about the room !

The room has been decorated in good style and the hotel property in general is a beautiful place to be, be it on the rooftop or by the restaurants. It’s a mere 45 mins by speedboat from Male airport, but you can also take public ferry as it’s much cheaper and worth it for the experience. I would come again and recommend it to others, the property was a highlight of our trip to the Maldives.
