The Maldives was an ultimate dream for me, so this is why my husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon here. I had my doubts but oh my god, this is truly a paradise. 1. Location Only 45 minutes away from Male. I believe this is important in terms of how long you want to spend in the boat. I didn’t want a place too close to Male, but too long destination would make me nervous too. So, in terms of location 10/10. Also, there is amazing coral reef where we saw 2 turtles, mini sharks, dozen of other beautiful fish. 2. Privacy I believe the main reason why Maldives is so successful is the privacy you get. I have never felt this privilege to be completely alone. I didn’t see my neighbors (except for dinner and breakfast). I really enjoyed the silence of my villa. 3. Staff These people are simply the best. I feel if I ask for the moon, they will find a way to give it to me. The island is small, the staff has more people than guests, so everyone knows you. That’s perfect 4. Food Amazing food. 5. Drinks I enjoyed cocktails a lot. They never missed. Prices from 12 to 18. And they can mix anything you like. 6. Nature Absolutely breathtaking nature, both underwater and tropical. 7. Extra Almost every evening we had something to do: the musicians and bands visited us couple times, there are pool, tennis, pingping, volleyball and other activities. Snorkeling is an absolute must!

This was the most beautiful holiday, everything was perfect, from the most polite staff, immaculate organisation, amazing food, location - everything! Resort is big and beautiful, rooms also, a lot of activities, amazing for young, adults and kids! This was my first time here but definitely not the last one! The adult only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives offers elegant beach and over-water accommodation for adults in the exclusive North Male Atoll. We stayed for 10 nights at the water villa. From the moment we arrived we felt like we did a great choice, easy transfer by boat from the airport. Emmi, the receptionist was so amazing and kind, making the check-in process smooth and fast. All the staff in general were amazing, specially the two bartenders at the pool bar (Waves Bar) they always remember what we like, and always smiling and funny conversations. The beach was really great and clean, comfortable beds. The food is great, breakfast, lunch and dinner, the buffet was always changing and specials of the day every dinner. The cooks are doing an amazing job, as well as the waiters and the whole staff in general. The facillities are aslo very clean, and taking care of.

Bandos resort is a private island located 8 Km away from Male. Bandos Maldives features spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the garden or beach. Super friendly staff and great dive center with a very competent team. The house reef is so far the most beautiful I've seen in the Maldives, full of biodiversity and easy to reach.

The overwater villa itself was incredible - the slide directly into the ocean was so much fun, and we practically lived in the 1.4m pool, swimming every single day. The resort also graciously provided a day-use villa for our late checkout, which was very thoughtful. The staff truly made our stay special. Hasnah greeted us upon arrival and set such a positive tone for our entire visit. Our navigator Schifu was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and really went above and beyond. The extra effort she put in to celebrate our anniversary and birthday meant the world to us. We also had wonderful conversations with Adam, Laikan, and Ayyob - the whole team was fantastic. Special mention to Akmal who took the time to explain how all the food stations worked, and to Siska (I think that was her name, the pasta chef) at the pasta station along with her colleague - they made excellent pasta dishes that became our go-to meal.
