On a tropical private island in North Male Atoll, Kurumba Maldives features beautiful white sand beaches and scenic coconut trees. Everything was really great; location; accommodation; service. Not far from the Male airport and in the same time it wasn’t noisy due to the nearby airport. Food was also delicious.

Everything was very clean, the food was delicious, the location was amazing, and the staff was simply the best! We travel a lot, but we have never seen such kind, friendly, and attentive staff anywhere else. Straight to the heart! A special mention to Ali, the waiter from the Aura restaurant—this man truly loves his job and always recommends the most delicious dishes. A huge thank you also to the chef from this restaurant—may your hands always stay blessed! A big thanks as well to Charlie, Banjo, and Nattey—true professionals in their field! We also want to express our gratitude to the person (unfortunately, I forgot the name) who was always available on WhatsApp, arrived on time, recommended and booked restaurants and water activities for us, and accompanied us from the beginning to the end of our trip. You have a person dedicated to you instead of a reception - you can contact over WhatsApp with requirements and have a schedule on the app where you can check what’s available and make bookings. Great food options Several services included based on your stay length like spa treatments, dinner at the underwater restaurant and sunset cruise. The staff are super friendly and there’s different activities everyday. Plenty to explore and access to the other nearby family hotel. There’s a connection to their sister hotel Oblu experience Ailafushi which is open for families but you have full access.

Just an amazing hotel. 15 minutes from the airport by super comfortable speedboat. No need to wait the transfer at the airport as the boat is already waiting for you. The island is unbelievably beautiful and the house reef is just awesome (saw huge tortoise while snorkeling). Rooms are beautiful, bed is super comfortable, Acqua Di Parma cosmetics in all the rooms. It was an amazing stay, we enjoyed every single moment. Thanks to all the staff for their excellent work

I believe all of this comes down to the amazing group of staff from the welcome received at the airport by Ms. Zulina, to the amazing reception of Ms. Sandali who was nothing short of extraordinary as she was the one who took care of us during our stay, to the amazing hostesses who always remembered us by our names at the Market and made our dine-in so special which include Ms. Gracia, Ms. Gita, the waiter Rozairo whose constant desire to quench our thirst and cravings, the wonderful chef at the food truck Shouhab who engages in delightful conversation while he carefully makes you a juicy sandwhich that makes you craving for more. Let us not forget Mustafa who was in charge of our table at the Palm beach restaurant and made our dine-in memorable and the bell boy and drivers Iyaan and Faizu who was always there to take us around and make us feel right at home. Joy Island is truly a destination that makes for unforgettable experiences, value for money, and thanks to the amazing staff who make it a sensational experience.
