Every part of the premises are well designed, lovely spaces. We enjoyed the lake view from the balconies. It was magical to see a glowing sunset on the lake while we had our supper on the restaurant balcony. The five stars are well deserved.

Our stay at Hotel Coatlicue was absolutely fantastic, and a big part of that was thanks to the exceptional service provided by the owner. We had already booked a hot air balloon tour prior to our stay, but getting to the meeting spot turned out to be tricky. The owner went above and beyond to assist us, personally ensuring we reached the location on time. In hindsight, I’d recommend messaging the hotel directly to book a hot air balloon tour through them. Their prices are more affordable than what we found elsewhere, and they also include transportation, which makes the whole experience seamless. The hotel itself was comfortable and welcoming, but it’s the genuine care from the owner and his wife that truly sets it apart. If you’re planning a visit, this is the place to stay!

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Ixtapan de la Sal. It offers a spa, outdoor pool, rooms with free Wi-Fi and either a private plunge pool or balcony overlooking the gardens. The heated pool and jacuzzi with slides for children, lots of plants, green environment very calm and relaxing place. We were there on week days and it was empty.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Mexico! Lovely staff, delicious breakfast and exciting options like getting a fire lit in the fireplace, a spa, and many other offers (not free though). Highly recommend!
