The location is pictureperfect facing the irridiscent sea, the rooms are very clean, the food is fresh and homemade and the staff is very friendly. Especially the bartenders and the restaurant aswell as maintenance staff. We had a wonderful time and that was not only because Holbox is a magical place but also because of Palapas del Sol ☆

The El Meco Mayan Ruins is 7 miles from the hotel. We recently spent a week at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach in Cancun, and it was our fourth time visiting. As always, the experience did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the rooms were comfortable, and every staff member was incredibly attentive and kind. We’ve never stayed at an all-inclusive resort that had such delicious food. It truly makes a difference in the overall experience. The resort has also made some great upgrades, including the addition of new and amazing restaurants, giving us plenty of options like steakhouse, Italian, Japanese, American cuisine, and more. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. -The gardens, rooms, and docks were beautiful -Staff went out of their way to make our trip special -Rooms had everything you need (nice toiletries, robes, beach towels, etc) -Easy to get to/from town by taxi ($70/trip)

Guests at Hotel Shibari - Restaurant & Cenote Club can enjoy a continental breakfast. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving international cuisine. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can also be requested. We had a great stay at Shibari and enjoyed all the amenities and the wonderful cenote. We also tried the spa, which was a great experience. The hotel is not on the beach but it is a two-minute walk from some very nice beach clubs. Definitely also recommend spending time by the cenote. There is a live dj on some days and that was also a great addition (not too loud). All the staff were lovely but I want to mention Diego at the concierge desk in particular, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. The only minus is something that was mentioned by others and that I had rolled my eyes at when reading the reviews but was actually quite annoyed by when we were there, and that is the compulsory service charge at breakfast. It’s a small thing but somehow dampened our experience.

The setting is in a jungle. Very nice. All of the staff are wonderful. There is a good breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed this place very much. Thank you to all the staff. Mike & Lilly

Hotel Amainah Bacalar Adults Only in Bacalar has 5-star accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. I had an amazing time at this property! The rooms were spacious and provided a great view of the lagoon. The balcony was amazing with a private pool and hammock. I enjoyed the restaurant and sun beds as well. The location of the hotel is great and very close to the town. The hotel staff was so kind and they helped us call taxi's to and from the property when we would head to town. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone going to Bacalar!
