Hotel Norge by Scandic is located in central Bergen, just next to Byparken city park. Guests will find 3 floors of bars, lounge areas and restaurants. The airport shuttle bus and the city light rail system stop just next to the hotel. Bergen Fish And Flower Market is just a few minutes' walk away. Location is exceptional. The room we had was pretty small which was disappointing and too small if you are travelling with cases. It also seems strange that you have to pay extra to use the facilities such as the pool but in saying that, the hotel was overall exceptional. Staff were amazing

Before arriving, I thought the price was a bit too high. But everything exceeded my expectations: the spatious and clean rooms (both the main room and the bathroom), the facilities, and last but not least the ENORMOUS buffet breakfast.

The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of local and international options. Staff is very friendly. The spa was worth checking it out, they have warm water swimming pool and two different kinds of sauna (at additional cost, but not expensive, around 15 euros per person).
