This hotel is located right in the heart of all things tourist in the city center. The most chaotic portion of the city (nightlife and such) is within minutes of walking but you can walk in the opposite direction to connect to much more family friendly options like the huge street markets, temples, etc. It truly is a perfect location. There are tons of amazing restaurants within minutes walking too! Nearly right across the street there is a travel agency owned by Sunil Tamang. He will handle everything for your adventures and not be pushy. I strongly recommend him. The breakfast and staff were amazing at the hotel! The owner was very available and made sure we were happy! I even got a private tour of the property as they were doing upgrades. I very much recommend the hotel for all aspects: Location, hospitality, food, etc...

Our stay was amazing at Thrive. We enjoyed a lot our Ayuverdic massage, the girls at the spa were great. Also the staff was very friendly, always taking care of our requests. Even when we were preparing to leave with a cab, one of the staff members approached us to help to talk with the driver and to open the gate for him so we can comfortably load the car with luggage. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Kathmandu! Also to mention that the hotel is centrally located so we were at walking distance for almost everything in the city! And not to mention the breakfast which offers a great variety of food, it changes daily.

We’ll definitely come back , if you are planning a vacation in Nagarkot, in high standards, don’t think twice ! This is the place , super recommended and the most valuable for money.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Their English was really good and they were able to help you with anything. The 15 min massage was great and relaxing. They also offered to store our luggage there for the rest of our trip in Nepal. I really recommend this place.
