Don was very friendly and had a lot of really great recommendations. The property was gorgeous, it had everything we needed and more. Along with a beautiful view of Lake Taupo. We ended every night with the sunset in the hot tub. We are looking forward to staying again!

Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. The host Peter was wonderful and welcoming. Location is amazing. Really a great stay, everything that we needed was there, neat, clean and tidy. Amazing view, pools were lovely. It felt like a 5 star experience.

Clean, well equipped, comfy and warm! We LOVED everything about this home. Was so hard for us to leave this home made us feel so much at home. I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was but we will most definitely be booking again in the near future.

This property was awesome. Perfect location infront of Great Taupō Lake and Mount Raupehu (snow on top) - stunning view. All amenities for cooking , stay and lounge for 2 families. Close by/ walkable distance for all kind of foods. Outdoor tables to relax. Great coffee shop just opposite of the house.

Stunning lake views from the front of the house. Huge kitchen with a fireplace became our base of operations. Movie night in the White Lounge was amazing!

Having a spa looking out across the lake was fantastic.

Very easy checkin, stunning house, beautiful view, comfy beds, crisp bed sheets and the pool, jacuzzi and Sauna were such a great addition to this beautiful modern house.
