Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. The location was incredibly convenient, the view was beautiful, and the staff were professional, willing to help, and very friendly. The rooms were a good size with all necessary amenities, and the pool provided a welcome cool down after a hot day.

It’s a beautiful big property set in wonderful grounds with amazing facilities such as the pool, spa & outdoor play equipment. We loved the huge amount of space with ample room, multiple lounges and lovely big kitchen/diner for our large group. The location and proximity to all the attractions was fantastic; everything we needed and wanted to visit in the area was only a short drive away.

Close to everything including playground nearby and lake down the road. Very clean and communication with hosts was great. Spa was a definite bonus which we loved.
