Located on the shores of Lake Taupo, Anchorage Resort offers rooms with free unlimited WiFi access and views of either the pool or the lake. A 1 night stay to break up our journey from Wellington to Hamilton. Large 1 bedroom apartment which was very well organised and clean. Two large sofas made for a comfortable relaxing evening. The pool is small but the hot tub (no bubbles) was heated to 38 degrees. Both were enjoyable. The kitchen (no oven) had everything you needed to prepare a meal. The staff were friendly and provided a bottle of milk for a much needed cup of tea

Clean, well equipped, comfy and warm! We LOVED everything about this home. Was so hard for us to leave this home made us feel so much at home. I could go on and on about how amazing our stay was but we will most definitely be booking again in the near future.

Close by/ walkable distance for all kind of foods. Outdoor tables to relax. Great coffee shop just opposite of the house.

It’s a beautiful big property set in wonderful grounds with amazing facilities such as the pool, spa & outdoor play equipment. We loved the huge amount of space with ample room, multiple lounges and lovely big kitchen/diner for our large group. The location and proximity to all the attractions was fantastic; everything we needed and wanted to visit in the area was only a short drive away.

Having a spa looking out across the lake was fantastic.

Very easy checkin, stunning house, beautiful view, comfy beds, crisp bed sheets and the pool, jacuzzi and Sauna were such a great addition to this beautiful modern house.
